Ant Tower Cookies

ANT TOWER COOKIES (KARINCA KULESI KURABIYESI)
Ingredients
2 eggs
4 tbsp. water
4 tbsp. sugar
1+2/3 stick butter (softened in room temp)
4 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 condensed milk

Mix all ingredients together except condensed milk. Make the dough add flour if needed (make a hard dough). Put to the freezer for an hour.  Take from freezer and grate all dough in a grater to the oven pan.(if dough is not hard enough put for some more time). Put the pan to the 300 F-350 F preheated oven and bake until golden brown. Let the dough crumbs cool down and add condensed milk, mix thoroughly. Then put to any small cup or glass and give a shape. Put to fridge for 20 min. and serve.

Cookies with marmalade

COOKIES WITH MARMALADE (MARMELATLI KURABIYE)

Ingredients
2+1/2 cups flour
8 oz or 1 cup margarine ( for cookies) (room temp.)
1 egg (divided)
1 cup powdered sugar
! package vanillin
sesame
marmalade (or fruit preserves)

In a bowl, mix margarine, powdered sugar and vanilla with the hand. Add egg yolk and continue mixing. Add flour and make soft, non-sticky dough. When dough is ready, divide into 2 dough pieces. Make rolls about 1-1.5 inches in diameter. Roll in a plate with egg white first and then sesame. Cut into 0.5 inches cookies. Place cookies in a pan and press in the middle with your finger to create a well. Preheat the oven 375 F. and bake until cookies are slightly pink. Put 1/2 tsp marmalade or preserve in the middle.

Apple Cookies

APPLE COOKIES (ELMALI KURABIYE)

Dough ingredients
1/2 cup yogurt
1/2 cup powdered sugar
3~3 1/2 cup flour
1 pack (10 gram) baking powder
1 pack (10 gram) vanilla
250 grams softened butter or margarine

Stuffing ingredients
3 apples
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp powdered cinnamon
2 tbsp butter
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 400 F.
Mix all dough ingredients except flour. Add flour slowly and make a soft non sticky dough. Cover the dough and put in the fridge.
Peel and grate apples. Add sugar, cinnamon and cook. Add walnuts.
Sprinkle a little bit flour on the counter, roll out dough. Spread apple mix onto it. Make a roll carefully. Slice into ~ 1/3 inch slices. Place them on a parchment lined baking pan. Place into the oven until lightly browned (about 12-15 min). Let cool down and sprinkle powdered sugar.

Cinnamon/Tahini Cookies

Ingredients:
2 stick unsalted butter, soft
1/2 cup vegetable oil
5 tbsp tahini
1/2 tsp cinnamon
4 tbsp powdered sugar
1+1/2 cup finely chopped walnut or hazelnut
Flour as needed

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Mix the butter, vegetable oil, tahini, cinnamon, powdered sugar and chopped nuts together.  Add the flour until the dough is not sticking to your hand.  Take hazelnut size balls from the dough and round with your hands.  Place the balls on parchment lined or lightly buttered baking pans. Bake the cookies 10 to 15 minutes. Take them out before they got brown.

Walnut Cookies

WALNUT COOKIES

Ingredients:
1 + ½ sticks margarin
1 cup powdered sugar
½ cup walnut (finely chopped)
1 packet baking powder
1 packet vanilla
2 cups flour
1 egg yolk
25 pieces walnut (for the tops)

Mix all the ingredients except the flour. Add the flour slowly and knead a soft dough. Make walnut- sized balls with your hands and place them on an oven tray with parchment paper. Wisk the egg white and brush the tops of the cookies. Place half walnut and press a little. Preheat the oven and bake at 350 F.

Moist Cookies
Ingredients
2 eggs
2 stick margarine or butter at room temperature
3 tbsp cacao
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
3 cups+2 tbsp of all purpose flour

For the syrup
-2 cup sugar
-2 cup water

For the top
-Shredded coconut

Mix flour, baking powder, and vanilla and set aside. In a large mixing bowl, combine all other ingredients and make dough with the consistency of an earlobe. Grab egg size dough and roll it like a ball and place them in a tray. Bake the cookies at 350 degree oven approx. 30-35 minutes. In a bowl, mix 2 cup sugar and 2 cup water and let the sugar melt by stirring. After taking cookies out from the oven, let them sit for about 2 minutes. Apportion the syrup over the cookies with the help of a table spoon. (Each cookie should take about 3 tbsp syrup.)When the cookies absorb all the syrup, sprinkle some coconut over them.
